New Balance and Carhartt WIP have collaborated for the first time on a capsule collection that includes a reimagined version of the classic 990v1 sneaker silhouette, as well as a series of apparel and accessories. Titled the Sculpture Center capsule collection, it is inspired by no-frills, no-shortcuts neighborhood gyms. The resulting styles draw from a palette of dark blues and grays, as trophy motifs and collegiate-inspired typography feature throughout. These sweatpants are crafted with 100% cotton for a soft & comfortable feel. Collaborative branding can be found screen-printed at the left thigh. Featuring an adjustable drawcord waist and two side pockets as well as a back pocket finished with the iconic square Carhartt woven label.
